Sharon is a seasoned veteran when it comes to balancing the books. She has 25+ years of experience with past employers including an accounting firm, a banking company and a technology consultant agency. Her roles at these companies consist of data processing, personal management, licensed securities officer and Director of Administration. Working in the accounting field really is her zest in life. “Either it balances or it doesn’t” explains Sharon. “I don’t like gray areas, and you don’t find any in this line of work!”

Accounting turned out to be Sharon’s true calling in life, but her journey to find out who she wanted to be when she grew up started in college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She graduated with a BA in Social Work, but her future didn’t seem very rosy in that field. Simply Retail sure is glad she realized she belongs with her nose in the books, keeping finances afloat. Sharon is a very detail-oriented woman, which is perfect for her position at Simply Retail.

When Sharon isn’t keeping the “books” in order at work, she is reading, traveling, cross-stitching, watching a movie or going to the theater. However, many weekends are also spent in Northern Wisconsin in the cabin her dad built over 40 years ago. With the addition of four bedrooms and a bathroom last year, this rustic little cabin has turned into quite the place. While up north, she spends her time on the pontoon, in the kayak or just lounging around.
