Nicole Honzik
Vice President of Retail Strategy and Development
As Vice President of Retail Strategy and Development, Nicole guides clients through the development and building of successful healthcare retail systems. She knows what it takes to make retail work. She works with our Retail Trek clients through the entire project management and store development process, preparing timelines and schedules and advising clients concerning store design and management. Nicole is an expert when it comes to marketing, hiring, point of sale systems, and everything else needed to make retail a success. Before joining Simply Retail, Nicole worked in developing financials and merchandise plans, strengthening brand identification, and increasing revenues for large corporations including Gander Mountain where she transformed a seasonal gift area into a complete Home Decor department resulting in sales growth from 4 million to 14 million in two years. While at Takeout Inc., she coordinated overall profitability margin and advertising agreements for May Corporate stores, Saks Inc. and Belk Corporation. Nicole was also employed by Nordstrom for nine years, serving as a buyer for four of those years. Nicole also identifies new services and trends pertinent to the client and helps develop customized concepts for each client during the Retail Discovery process. Nicole lives in Minneapolis with her dogs, Boomer and Max (who is a Katrina survivor), and her cat, Simon. She enjoys antiquing for unique items and loves to spend time with her niece and nephew, Alaina and Ethan. Nicole has worked with numerous healthcare industry clients while at Simply Retail.
