Creative Director

The Creative Director is primarily responsible for the overall creative direction and creative process of each retail discovery. Leading the discovery team and working closely with the Project Manager, the creative director will oversee the project creative theme, retail concept development and location strategy, research and information gathering, and writing of the discovery document. An integral management position in the company, it requires significant contact with C-level executives, operational department heads, architects, and financial professionals within the retail and healthcare community.
Responsibilities include:
- Creative Direction and Process
- Lead a collaborative discovery team that creates a customized retail system and retail feasibility product for each individual health system client.
- Provide leadership in distinct retail concept development, project theme and project direction.
- Apply ingenuity, creativity, analytical and organizational skills to identify and evaluate new retail concepts that always ?push the envelope'' of creativity and experience for our clients.
- Lead brainstorming and team download meetings that translate into big ideas and executable creative retail concepts.
Retail Concept Development and Location Strategy
- Conduct site visits at client locations to asses and determine potential locations for retail concepts.
- Obtain CAD floor plans and work with Simply Retail architect to design and develop specific and tailored retail concepts including square footages, concept floor plans, fixture profiles, cash wrap locations, store traffic flow and product locations.
- Continuous development of specific and unique healthcare retail store concepts and design.
- Ensure all retail concepts are innovative, yet aligned with our client's healthcare objectives and goals.

Qualifications:
- A passion for retail concepts and design is mandatory
- Demonstrated track record of managing a highly creative team
- Significant retail experience
- Project management experience
- Visual merchandising expertise
- An understanding of the healthcare industry
- An ability to lead brainstorming meetings and translate big ideas into executable creative retail concepts
